Chief Automation Experts LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the TBNamed mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

By using TBNamed, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Name (first name or nickname)
• Email address
• Password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing; we never store plaintext passwords)

If you sign in using Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from the respective provider. We do not receive or store your Apple or Google password.

1.2 Profile and Preference Data

To provide the App's core functionality, we collect:

• Due date (your expected baby arrival date)
• Partner linking information (invite codes used to connect accounts)
• Theme preference (light or dark mode)

1.3 Usage Data

As you use the App, we collect:

• Swipe activity (which names you liked, passed on, marked as "maybe," or placed on your off-limits list)
• Comments attached to name cards
• Match data (names mutually liked by you and your partner)
• Rankings (how you order your matched names)
• Custom names you create within the App
• Filter preferences you set while browsing names

1.4 Device Information

To deliver push notifications and ensure the App functions properly, we may collect:

• Device tokens (for push notification delivery)
• Device type and operating system version

1.5 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect precise geolocation data.
• We do not collect health or medical information beyond the due date you voluntarily provide.
• We do not collect payment or financial information directly. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and we do not have access to your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features
• Sync your swipe data, matches, and rankings with your linked partner in real time
• Send you push notifications about matches, partner activity, and due date milestones
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account
• Respond to your support requests

We do not use your data for:

• Advertising or ad targeting
• Selling to third parties
• Building marketing profiles

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 With Your Linked Partner

The core purpose of TBNamed is to share name preferences between partners. When you link accounts, your partner can see:

• Names you both swiped right on (matches)
• Names placed on the off-limits list (and associated comments)
• Names in the "maybe" pile (and associated comments)
• Your ranking of matched names

Your partner cannot see names you liked but they haven't swiped on yet, or names you passed on.

3.2 With Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Supabase (database hosting, authentication, and real-time sync) — supabase.com/privacy
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notification delivery) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Apple and Google (authentication providers, if you choose to sign in with them)

These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process (e.g., a court order or subpoena).

3.4 No Sale of Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for any purpose.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers managed by Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL)
• Secure password hashing
• Row-level security policies restricting data access to authorized users only
• Authentication tokens with expiration

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Specifically:

• Active accounts: All data is retained to provide the App's functionality.
• Account deletion: When you delete your account, we immediately and permanently delete all associated data, including your profile, swipe history, matches, comments, rankings, custom names, and partner link. This action is irreversible.
• Inactive accounts: We may delete accounts that have been inactive for more than 24 months, with prior email notification.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Access and Portability

You may request a copy of your personal data by contacting us at the email below.

6.2 Correction

You may update your account information within the App's Settings screen.

6.3 Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the App's Settings screen. All data will be permanently and immediately deleted.

6.4 Push Notifications

You may disable push notifications at any time through your device's system settings.

6.5 Rights for EU Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability. Our legal basis for processing your data is your consent (provided when you create an account) and contractual necessity (to provide the App's services). 6.6 Rights for California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

7. Children's Privacy

TBNamed is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 16, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
